(DPI), an Emmyâ Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, announced the launch of the SHOWlite 6000gv and 5000sx+ projection systems. The new SHOWlite series employ high-performance 1.4-inch poly-silicon LCD technology and deliver brightness up to 6,000 ANSI lumens, native resolutions up to SXGA+ and contrast ratio performance of 700:1. The SHOWlite's utilize dual 275W high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps or-as an option-dual 160W HID lamps for ultra-long lamp life of 6,000 hours.
The SHOWlite 6000gv and 5000sx+ feature technologically-advanced DigiScale®-accurate image resizing for faithful reproduction of all sources-and DigiView®-optimized video processing, deinterlacing and 3:2 pulldown-for precise reproduction of video and HD sources. Additionally, DigiWarp® provides user-definable control over all image geometry to accommodate unusual applications and irregular screen surfaces.
The new SHOWlite projectors are perfectly suited for a variety of applications that demand low-cost, high-lumen LCD performance, including corporate boardrooms, training and education, religious and rental and staging. "The SHOWlite 6000gv and 5000sx+ present a great combination of functionality, performance and portability, and are the perfect cost-efficient projector for budget-driven applications that require high lumens and unparalleled installation flexibility," said Mike Levi, president of Digital Projection, Inc.
DPI will exhibit the SHOWlite 6000gv for the first time at NAB 2003 (April 7 to 10, Las Vegas). Both the 6000gv and 5000sx+ are currently in production and available for shipment to dealers and DPI's certified staging partners.
