MITSUBISHI DIGITAL ELECTRONICS AMERICA ANNOUNCES NEW MINI-MITS® PROJECTOR

IRVINE, Calif., June 3, 2003 — Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division, maker of award-winning, high-quality presentation and display products, today introduced its newest Mini-Mits projector, the XD50U. The XD50U Mini-Mits is Mitsubishi Digital's latest lightweight Digital Light Processing (DLP® ) projector, boasting 1500 ANSI lumens and 1500:1 contrast ratio in a "mini"3.4-pound package.

The small but powerful XD50U utilizes Mitsubishi Digital's technological excellence in video processing to produce crisp, clean digital video images as well as rich, brilliant colors. It offers a remarkable 1500:1 contrast ratio—colors are rich and vivid, whites are brilliant, and blacks are extremely dark— great for home theater and professional presentations. It is also capable of accepting HDTV input signals, which is a critical consideration for home theater enthusiasts.
