LC-XNB5M XGA Notebook Projector

Press Release  |  Jun 3, 2003

New 3-Panel XGA LCD Data/Video Projector weighs less than 9 lbs, delivers 2,500 ANSI Lumens brightness

With a footprint similar to a legal notepad, and only about 4" thick, this go- anywhere ultra portable projector fits easily under your arm, and projects true XGA computer and video images, in 16.7 million colors, on screens up to 20' wide.

The LC-XNB5M weighs only 8.6 lbs. Yet, it delivers images with a room-filling 2,500 ANSI Lumens brightness, at a remarkable 90% uniformity and 400:1 contrast ratio, in 1024x768 (XGA) pixel resolution, with rich 3-panel LCD color.

The LC-XNB5M can also be operated in lower-wattage Eco-Mode, which permits fan noise to drop to a whisper-quiet 36 dBA, at a still remarkable 2000 ANSI Lumens.

In addition to its native XGA resolution, the LC-XNB5M's smart scaling technology makes it compatible with input at SXGA, XGA, VGA, and Macintosh computer resolutions, and Normal and Widescreen video in most major standards as well.

The LC-XNB5M comes equipped-with a host of features to make set-up a breeze, including digital keystone correction, power zoom and focus, and a wireless remote control, plus an on-screen menu system, and automatic signal synchronization.

Presentation power is in the palm of your hand with the LC-XNB5M, with features like computer Mouse Control, Laser Pointer, Freeze and NoShow functions, and a Digital Zoom that magnifies the image (not the pixels) all on the wireless remote control.

For versatility, the Media Card Imager - a Compact Flash based computerless slideshow system - is available as an optional accessory. And, newly available, is the Wireless Imager, a WiFi (802.11b) based content delivery and projector control system.

The LC-XNB5M is one of a family of NOTEBOOK projectors. Other models include 2000 and 1700 ANSI Lumen XGA and SVGA versions at lower cost, including a Wideangle zoomlens version offering throw-to-width ratios from 1.15~1.39:1.
