Hitachi Introduces Ultra-Bright LCD Projector at INFOCOMM '99

The CP-X960W is Rated at 1,800 ANSI Lumens and Features True XGA

BRISBANE, Calif.-- June 8, 1999--Hitachi America, Ltd. (www.hitachi.com/lcd), a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT), today announced its newest addition to its line of LCD projectors, the CP-X960W.

Delivering 1800 ANSI lumens and true XGA resolution, the 13 lb. CP-960W also incorporates electronic keystone correction, picture in picture, and freeze frame capability. The CP-X960W projector will make its debut at INFOCOMM '99, where presenters can experience first-hand the CP-X960W's superior brightness, resolution and ease of setup and operation.

The CP-X960W will be available in October 1999 and is priced at $12,995.00.
