Hitachi Broadens LCD Projector Line With Two New SVGA Units
CP-S840W and CP-S860W to Debut at InfoComm '99
BRISBANE, Calif--June 8, 1999--Hitachi America, Ltd. (www.hitachi.com/lcd), a subsidiary of Hitachi. Ltd. (NYSE:HIT), today announced two new SVGA LCD projectors, the CP-S840W and CP-S860W, that give the company one of the industry's broadest lines of LCD projectors.
Weighing under ten pounds, the super-portable CP-S840W offers users an 800 lumen, lightweight and portable projector that is ideal for the mobile presenter.
The CP-S860W features superior brightness of 1,700 ANSI lumens. The unit also incorporates electronic keystone correction, picture in picture and freeze frame capability.
The CP-S840W is priced at $7,495.00 and the CP-S860W is priced at $8,995.00. Both products will be available in August 1999.
