– 1,600 ANSI lumens and longer lamp life make this one of the best and brightest conference room projectors in the industry –

San Diego, CA - June 10, 1999 - With the introduction of the Desktop Projector 9250+, Proxima Corporation, a world leader in the multimedia projection industry, enhances the well-received DP9250 with a 300 lumen increase and a lamp life that is over twice as long. The 1,600 ANSI lumen, native XGA (1024 x 768) DP9250+ delivers exceptionally bright, highly detailed images and the highest contrast ratio of any projector in its class. This makes it the ideal choice for use in boardrooms, conference rooms, and workgroup settings, where crisp, clear images are key. Its 2000-hour lamp life ensures five years of worry-free presentations, under normal use. The DP9250+ projector is on display during INFOCOMM, taking place June 10 - 12 in Orlando, Florida, in Proxima's booth #1043.

"In today's competitive workplace," says Stuart Schaffer, Proxima's vice president of marketing, "to really impress your audience, you need a multimedia projector that produces sharp, saturated images. Proxima's DP9250+ is the solution. It's brighter than ever, and the XGA resolution provides highly-detailed images and support for the latest PCs."

The 9250+ offers functionality normally associated with fixed-installation projectors yet it weighs just 14.3 pounds, so it can be easily moved from room to room or building to building. Its portability enables users to enhance both in-office and mobile presentations.

Flexibility makes it perfect for sharing information
With features such as four input sources (two computer and two video), the DP9250+ easily accommodates multiple users. Additionally, the motorized focus and zoom, with 16x digital zoom/magnify, and the Laser F/X remote with built-in laser pointer and mouse control offers complete flexibility in image sizing and viewing. The Laser F/X remote gives the presenter the freedom of walking around the room as he presents and puts him in total command of the computer and projector. Additional features of the DP9250+ include the Fit-to-View technology for full-screen and full-resolution viewing of images from VGA to SXGA.

Available in June
The DP9250+ ships at the end of June, through Proxima's network of authorized resellers. Proxima offers an exceptional two-year warranty on parts and labor, with an optional third year available.
