With Addition of New DLP Models
BenQ Adds PB6110 and PB6210
to the Popular PalmPro Series of DLP-based Projectors
ATLANTA, GA (June 9, 2004) - BenQ today added the PB6110 and PB6210 DLP-based projectors to its best-selling PB6000 line of digital projectors. With the addition of the new PB6110 and PB6210 models, BenQ's PB6000 series will now include an additional set of SVGA and XGA-capable projector products to further meet the projection and presentation needs of the display consumer.
Both projectors feature sturdy and lightweight packaging, making them a seamless companion for a number of professional and personal home theater applications and installations. The PB6110 and PB6210 deliver the functionality needed to operate in a number of environments, such as conference rooms or entry-level home theater set-ups.
The PB6110 SVGA digital projector and the PB6210 XGA digital projector both utilize proprietary BenQ video-processing technology to support the latest DLP chip set from Texas Instruments. These new TI DDR DLP chipsets produce flawless pictures that will not fade or degrade over time. Both projectors are HDTV-compatible (480p, 720p and 1080i) and feature a direct YPbPr/component (through VGA port), S-Video and composite video inputs.
"With the great industry response we received from our PB6000 series of digital projectors, BenQ thought it would be a natural fit to add the PB6110 and PB6210 feature-rich, multi-function projectors to this line," said Stephanie Wang, product manager of Digital Media at BenQ. "By expanding the PB6000 series, consumers are able to pick the projector that is an ideal fit with their lifestyle, while still taking advantage of BenQ's superior display and projection expertise."
The PB6110 will be available in August 2004 for an estimated MSRP of $999. The PB6210 will be available in August 2004 for an estimated MSRP of $1,895.
