Elite Screens Introduces Home Series Home100IWH

Press Release  |  Sep 9, 2004

Electric Home Theater Projection Screen with Easy Installation

Tustin, Calif., Sep. 9, 2004 – Elite Screens, Inc., a new company specializing in a wide range of projection screens in a variety of types and sizes, today announced its latest home theater projection screen, the Home100IWH, featuring 16:9 HDTV format, heavy-duty aluminum housing, with enamel coated case included, wire three-way wall switch and IR remote control. Customers can use the proprietary Elite Screens EZ bracket to make it easy to hang the screen on a wall or ceiling.

Power and Control

A standard infra-red remote control, standard three-prong power plug and three-button wire wall-switch with wall mountable bracket, make it easy to control the screen's up and down position without the remote control. An extremely small black sensor can replace the wire wall-switch, which provides a clean appearance without wires, by using only the remote control. All screens come with a standard infrared remote control, making it easy to control the screen's up and down position from a distance.

Wire Management

If the Home1001WH is in a standalone position on a wall, users can eliminate the need to cope with two wires. The screen control can be mounted directly next to the screen box, because it does not need to be reachable as a result of the remote, which solves the problem managing the wiring.

Customers can replace the screen control with the infra-red sensor, which also is provided. This will allow the remote to work properly and eliminates the problem of hiding a second cable.

Mechanics

The under 4-inch x 4-inch screen aluminum casings with enamel coating are relatively lightweight and extremely easy to mount. The two provided mounting pieces bracket slide onto the housing and can be placed anywhere. Users simply need to find the wall studs and safely mount the screen. The provided mounts also support ceiling mounting.

Customers can pre-set the screen to stop at the determined point. This is done by lowering the screen to the desired location and setting the vertical stop position, which is inside the housing. Once this is done, the screen will automatically come to a stop at that same spot.

Screen Surface and Performance

The screen surface is matte white, this makes for easy daily usage simple cleaning. All Elite Screens have a flame retardant property that meets the CPA-84 standard.

Optional Accessory Help Installation

There are optional accessories to enable easy installation of the Home1001WH. Among these are a 12-volt trigger controller to projector and 12-inch and 18-inch extended L brackets for ceiling and wall mounting.

The Home100IWH comes with the Elite Screens product commitment -- a one-year limited warranty on all parts and labor. The Elite Home 100IWH is currently available through major distributors and dealers and at www.elitescreens.com with an estimated retail price of $699.
