TOSHIBA ANNOUNCES LIGHTWEIGHT DLP™ PROJECTOR FOR LARGE CONFERENCE ROOMS, HALLS
Featuring Natural Color Enhancer Technology, TDP-T98U Projector Delivers Bright, Captivating Images
in Portable, 6.2-Pound Form Factor
Engineered for performance in a portable size, the TDP-T98U weighs only 6.2 pounds and touts a compact, sleek form factor that makes it ideal for professionals transporting the projector between presentations.
Featuring DLP™ (digital light processing) technology, the TDP-T98U offers 2,500 ANSI lumens, native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, and a 1600:1 contrast ratio. The TDP-T98U also features Toshiba's proprietary Natural Color Enhancer color correction circuitry, which delivers greatly improved image quality for exceptionally sharp and vivid images.
"Designed for presentations in larger conference rooms and halls, the TDP-T98U delivers stunning images without compromising ease-of-use or portability," said Alex Ijuin, assistant general manager for Toshiba DPD's Projector Business Unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. "It's the ideal portable presentation tool for business professionals and educators in mid-sized settings."
Offering a wide array of multimedia connectivity options, the TDP-T98U includes composite, component and S-video inputs, and audio in/out capabilities. A monitor output connector allows users to view presentations from an external display, without turning away from their audience to see what is being projected on the screen.
Users will appreciate the "hassle-free" setup, including one-touch auto setup, automatic keystone correction and a fully loaded remote control.
Designed to deliver high performance at a low noise level, the whisper quiet fan runs at 32 dBA (decibel adjusted) in low mode, ensuring the speaker can be heard.
The Toshiba TDP-T98U is available immediately with a manufacturer's suggested price of $2,2991. All Toshiba projectors are available through Toshiba's enterprise sales team and authorized distributors, dealers, VARs, retailers or mail-order outlets, and at toshibadirect.com.
