Optoma Debuts Ultra-Portable, Micro Digital Projector

INFOCOMM 2005, LAS VEGAS (June 8, 2005) – Optoma Technology, Inc. today debuted one of the industry's lightest and brightest projectors in the micro-portable category. The new EP729 XGA digital projector weighs-in at a mere 2.2-pounds and features Texas Instruments' DDR DLP™ technology that allows for higher brightness and deeper black levels. Optoma will showcase its full line of projection and digital display products at InfoComm 2005 in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 8-10 in booth # 3700.

The EP729 is super bright with 1,600 lumens and offers a high contrast ratio of 2200:1 for a greater range of color light intensity. Designed for the mobile professional, the fully featured, ultra-portable EP729, features a 16.7 million colors palette, true 1,024 x 768 XGA resolution with SXGA+ resize, and is HDTV compatible (720p, 1080i). It offers an incredible 4,000 hour lamp life, plug-and-play connectivity with auto-image function and an auto-sync function for quick and easy set-up.

The EP729 is currently available at an MSRP of $2,595. and includes a unique remote mouse with built-in laser pointer.
