JVC POWERS 1080P PROJECTOR WITH THE HQV VIDEO PROCESSING ENGINE
"We've been big fans of HQV processing from the beginning. It only made sense for us to pair our state-of-the-art 1080p projector with the best video processing in the industry. I think home theater enthusiasts will be amazed when they see the image quality that results from combining JVC 1080p DILA display technology with Silicon Optix trillion-operations-per-second HQV processing engine, " said Carl Mandelbaum, National Marketing Manager, display products, JVC Professional Products Company.
The JVC DLA-HD10K is the successor to JVC's renowned DLA-HD2K projector, one of the first models in the industry to feature native 1920 x 1080 chips. Since its introduction two years ago, the projector has become a favorite in Hollywood screening rooms because of its silky smooth, film-like reproduction.
The Realta HQV video engine encompasses true 10-bit video processing, full four-field, pixel-based, motion-adaptive video deinterlacing for both SD and HD signals, temporal-recursive and codec noise reduction, automatic multicadence detection, and pixel-based detail enhancement. It also uses the same video processing power—one trillion operations per second—as the famous $60,000 Teranex Xantus box.
The JVC processing box is available now through the CEDIA channel and authorized JVC dealers.
