NewSoft Cuts the Cord Between Laptops and Projectors with New WMS 200 Video Wireless 802.11 Adapter

LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 8, 2007 NewSoft America Inc., today announced its new WMS 200 Video wireless adapter. The WMS series are the first adapters that wirelessly link WiFi-ready laptops directly to projectors and displays.

The high performance WMS 200 is the latest addition to the WMS line and enables presenters to broadcast video, audio, pictures and slides from anywhere in the room. It also gives others access to the same projector for group collaboration. It easily transmits lossless, high quality MPEG-1, 2, and 4 video, music, high resolution images, and presentations featuring dynamic animation and audio. It will be available in Q1 2007 for $399 MSRP.

WMS 200 includes NewSoft's award-winning Presto! WMS software which controls access to the adapter and also offers an easy to use interface for broadcasting content. And, with its "one-to-many" functionality, WMS 200 Image allows all meeting participants to receive content as well.

The wireless projector adapter can support resolutions up to 1024 x 768 at 16/24/32 bit color modes.
