Personal Experience:
I've had this projector for almost 2 weeks now and have played with every option that it offers. This is my first projector and the only one for a while. I've read a lot of reviews about different projectors and their technology before buying this. I was so close to buying the Sony VPL-HS20 which is more than twice the price, but opted for this one instead. Although the HS20 has better image quality, it didn't meet my budget. I was initially worried about two main items. 1. Since this is an LCD based projector, I was concerned about the "meshing effect" (google it if you don't know what that is), and it did hold true. This was the biggest gripe initially, but soon corrected it by placing the projector closer to the screen. This projector being a relative new commer to the projector scene, has arrived with nice features such as being able to display large images even while being up close to the screen. 2. This projector has no DVI-I input which many others do. But it has the new HDMI input which is soon to be standardized digital interface and has an adapter from DVI to HDMI which is nice. I've recently finished connecting everything up and am enjoying every movie that I play. My current setup includes a computer equipped with ATI all-in-wonder Radeon 8500DV, Hercules Fortissimo 3, athlon xp 2100 / 512 Meg Ram. Sound system which is also very important is the Logitech z-680 with 500Watts RMS of excellent sound. The sound card Foritissimio 3 came with power DVD 4 (ex version) outputs signal from dvd movies via the digital s/pdif out and rest of the sound via the tradition direct analog mini jack connections. I've replaced the original speaker cable with 16 guage Audio cable. The HS3 is now celing mounted at approximately 10 feet from the screen and about a foot from the celing. HS3 recieves it's signal via the S-video out from my trusty 8500DV. The projected image is approximately 110 inches diagonally All in all this was a worthy investment. May be with the dvi-HDMI cable, the image quality will improve. Until then it's just good.
PS. I've posted a similar review on a different site, so if you see it there, it'll have the same nickname (xeromega) so don't think that this is some one else posting it.

Problems
no problems per se, but will likely edit the comment after using the dvi-hdmi cable.
