Personal Experience
I think the picture is excellent. Not sure if it'd D65 quality, I have no way of testing, but I did only minor tweaking and am more than impressed.

Projector occassionally deals with loss of HDMI signal from player when it's booting up, but runs fine once movie starts.

For the money you can't find a better projector!

Problems
Unfortunately this is my 2nd projector. the first one I bought had problems with producing random "checkerboard lock up" screens.

2nd one is working fine so far, but deals with light leakage out from the front focal ring. I may have home remedy, but it's still annoying.

And be aware this projector kicks plenty of light off it's left side (nearest) to the lens. But for a DLP projector it's really quiet. Only slight hearing of the color wheel.
