Personal Experience
The MP776 is an excellent projector for the classroom as it will perform in any type of setting. Whether you have a bright surrounding or a light controlled room, the MP776 will do the job right like it did for us. After doing vast amounts of research my colleagues decided to go with this unit due to the price and brightness comparison. The BenQ MP776 is packaged with Crestron wired networking capabilities which makes monitoring multiple projectors in a school a piece of cake. The IT division can set timers to allow auto shut downs for the projectors and start ups, which helps us by shortening the time of projector start ups. The BenQ also comes with quick on/off functions which expedites the standard waiting time and cooling time. Unlike most bright projectors, the MP776 also is relatively silent for the amount of lumen output it produces, to the extent that you can hear the two 5Watt speakers well. The contrast ratio on this projector is also quite nice as it gives the pictures a livelier feel. The contrast ratios between different shades of colors look great, and this is of course very important for the educational or presentation field in general. There is nothing worse than projecting a picture or presentation that confuses your viewers with the shades of colors something is supposed to be haha.
