This is my 2nd Epson projector. The first one (Epson Home Cinema 2030) developed a problem with the "optical engine" after 2.5 years and the replacement part was over $800. I got the newer Home Cinema 2100 from Dell for $600. The picture of 2100 was brighter and the colors more vivid. We use the projector to watch tv and movies. We also use it with PS3, Xbox 1, and Switch game consoles. Whether watching movies or playing games, the experience is amazing. I mounted the projector from the ceiling with a universal mount and have it throwing a 150" screen on a white painted wall. We are moving soon and I look forward to painting the wall in the new room with projector screen paint.
Not really a problem but when the movie or tv show is quiet, the fan noise from the projector is noticeable.
