i made this choice purely on specification, comparing it to other models within the price range.
i was nervous turning it on, as i didn't know what i was about to get for my money.
i plugged it in, connected my pc in 1280 x 1024 (native is 800x600), and away it went. really, i've seen plasmas have bigger problems with fonts than this projector did. very readable, on a huge 7 feet diagonal wall. (some of that screen door effect, but your eyes ignore it mostly)
i've played games, managed email and web pages (VGA), and watched digital tv (Svideo) and played an xbox thru composite... they all went well.
dont expect a crystal image for the price. ease of use, portability, lowest cost replacement lamps (nearly half price of most, watch out people) this projector adds up to a value-packed unit.
no problems, i've only had it a few days.
would be nice if carry case had a handle as well as shoulder strap, i guess strap could be shortened.
still looking at how to connect component video.
