Projector and Blu-ray Reviews
Several new articles have been posted, and several more are coming this week...
Since we watch so many Blu-ray discs in the process of projector reviews, I thought I'd start writing up a few of them. I posted a review of The French Connection last week. Quite an odd duck as far as Blu-ray discs go, but an intriguing transfer nevertheless. Meanwhile, I just now put up a review of Michael Jackson's "This Is It". This disc was far better than I suspected it would be--an excellent behind-the-scenes documentary of preparations for what would have been a truly extraordinary concert.
We've been waiting and waiting for the BenQ W1000, which was supposed to have been here long ago. Come to find out there was an error in shipping that nobody knew about. We should get it this week, and if we do the review will be done by end of next week.
We also just posted Allan Abbott's review of the NEC NP2200 4200-lumen conference room projector, and Bill Livolsi's review of the Optoma PRO350W, which is a very bright and portable 1280x800 model for only $700.
Tomorrow we will post a review of another tiny pocket projector, this one from Ray.
Much more to come soon on 3D.
