Reviews Posted and Future Schedule

Last week was a busy one, with four reviews posted. Here's what's coming up next...

As you may have noticed, Friday afternoon saw the publication of the Acer H6510BD review. This full 1080p 3D projector costs only $799, several hundred dollars less than the BenQ W1070 which we reviewed earlier this year. The differences between the two projectors are detailed on the BenQ W1070 vs Acer H6510BD shootout page within the review. All in all, it's a good choice for home entertainment because of its high brightness, but the W1070 has the advantage of more accurate color reproduction.

We also published Marc Davidson's BenQ MS517 review, BenQ MW519 review, and Epson BrightLink 436Wi review earlier last week.

The next item on my schedule is the Epson Home Cinema 750HD, a 1280x800 resolution, 3000 lumen projector built for living room use. It is full 3D, like the Acer H6510BD and BenQ W1070, and at $899 it is price-competitive with those projectors, though it is lower in resolution. We are eager to see how it stacks up. Look for that review early next week. Also in house is the BenQ W1080ST, which looks like a short-throw version of the popular W1070.

Side note: if you purchased the Panasonic PT-AE8000 from an authorized retailer and haven't mailed in your rebate form, do so. We noted in our Sony HW50 review that the Panasonic rebate, which is redeemable for two pairs of 3D glasses, cash back, and a third year of warranty coverage was set to expire on March 31. That offer has been extended through June 5. So send in your rebate form!

As always, thanks for reading.
