Latest and Upcoming Reviews 12/4

We have just posted a review of the Epson Pro Cinema 9600e, which is the less expensive edition of the flagship Epson LS10000...

The primary difference between these two models is the 4K Enhancement capability, which the LS10000 has and the LS9600e does not. But both feature Epson's reflective LCoS technology, which they term 3LCD Reflective, and both have the new long life laser light engines. See Bill's review of the Epson 9600e for details, including comments on how the 9600e compares to the popular Sony HW55ES.

For presenters on the road, the Casio XJ-A147 review will get you up to date on the latest LED/Laser hybrid offering from Casio, combining high lumen output, a long life light engine, and a compact, convenient form factor.

In the sub-2 lb, world, the Viewsonic PLED-W800 review gives insights into this exciting new model for both portable presentation and home entertainment use. We are currently doing a shootout between the Viewsonic PLED-W800 and an impressive competitor, the AAXA M4. Both of these are 1280x800 resolution, tiny compacts with LED light engines. This shootout will be posted before the Christmas break.

Finally, the Epson Home Cinema 3000 has arrived and is in review. We will be getting that one posted by mid month as well.
