Review schedule update

We've arrived at the holiday break with a lot of review activity in the mill...

After having finished up reviews of the Sony VPL-HW65ES, the Epson Pro Cinema 1985, and the Benq HT4050 we've got several more in process including the entry level 1080p Vivitek DH559 ($699), the Epson Home Cinema 1440 ($1,699), and the Dell 4350 ($1,199).

We are also anticipating the arrival of Sony's new 4K projector, the VPL-VW365ES around mid-January. Once we see it on premises we will schedule the review asap.

On top of this, the first week of the new year brings what is shaping up to be a hotter than usual CES 2016 show in Las Vegas, January 6-9. When it comes to new projector activity, CES is often rather quiet. But this year it will definitely produce some drama.

And some good news on the ALR front ... we've resolved some issues that were causing a delay in the Ambient Light Rejection screen shootout, and it has been rescheduled for February. I'm very anxious to get this published, and I know a lot of you have been waiting for it. Thankfully it is back on track.

Wishing you a happy and safe holiday season...

Do you know if Panasonic has exited the home theater projector business? I'm just curious since they've never updated the AE8000. Thanks!
