I have been following your recommendations on projectors for years. My home unit, a Panasonic AE8000 is still giving me a great picture which is why I haven't rushed into 4K. I am fascinated by the development of pixel shift technology for LCDs because being video editor, I have real problems with the rainbow effect of DLP units. I don't play games, have a constant height 3.5 meter screen in a purpose dark cinema room and will only really be playing movies. I'm thinking this Epson is for me but will install it in tandem with my AE8000. Thanks for the review.
