The Sanyo PLV-Z1 Projector is a WVGA Home Theater Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 700 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 964x544 . The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut. The unique projector lens has the ability to be shifted to allow greater flexibility in positioning the projector relative to the screen. This projector was first available for purchase in November 2002 and has been by Sanyo. The Sanyo PLV-Z1 was also marketed as the Studio Exp. Matinee 1HD. Sanyo is now part of the Panasonic Group and officially discontinued its production and sales of projectors in 2012.
