Write a ReviewThis is my first projector, so I cannot compare, my experiences are solely based on my personal taste. I use this projector for PC presentations, and, sometimes, to watch movies. PC picture quality is excellent, brigt and crisp. Video quality is OK, for my purposes, but I think that quality enhancements were possible. Zoom adjustment is a bit clumsy. When I bought it, the projector was quite cheap in its class, and it could provide a very good value for the money, if the annoying problems described below would not appear every now and then.
Any Problems: The unit's controller seems to work unreliably, sometimes the unit cannot be powered off, sometimes the fan will run forever after powering off, sometimes the picture freezes, sometimes the input signal selector will not find any input but scan the inputs forever. In all cases the problem goes away after disconnecting the projector from the mains, let it cool a while and then reconnect it and turn it on again. Sometimes I also get blinking rows of pixels at at the very top of the picture, and sometines a solid dark green line at the bottom. There are situations where the fan permanently changes its revs between low (28 dB9 and high (31 dB) operation, the result is an annoying howling noise. Furthermore after approx. 1000 hours of eco operation the lamp has already become significantly dimmer and the fan does only rarely work at low revs (28 dB) any more.
