Don't believe other reviews. Good solid projector worthy of the Barco name

Most reviewer complain about the cost to replace the lamps. You can replace all 4 for around $600. The brightness falls off around 700 hours but they last until 1,300 hours. You will have to refile the coolant every 3 to 4 years but that is a simple process. This unit can truly work 24/7 and is built like a tank. Great image quality and and large choice of lenses that are cheap now.

Any Problems: Lamps are rated at a maximum 1300 hours waranty is up to 750 hours. The HD8 stops striking lamps and gives an over lamp hours error around 800 hours. Lamps are around $400 each which there are 4 of them. It would be nice to get closer to the maximum lamp life. The 3 filters are also very expensive to replace.

A pain to fill the coolant. Does not rotate striking the lamps, favors striking 3 & 4 over 1 & 2 even if 3 & 4 are over on hours. Costumer service is difficult to navigate. Lamps are way over priced and slow to arrive when ordered. Units sometimes indicate that they are on input #1 but really they are looking at input #2.
