I just got the chance to play around with the BenQ SP831 here at our office rooms and was quite impressed with this machine. I tried various kinds of media content like Powerpoint, Word and other office applications, Internet and played a movie as well. Taking a look at the specs only it rather seems to be a projector for auditoriums and similar situations where high brightness is needed (4,000 lumens). But playing the video in our light darkened conference room gave me a good image impression as well. Though being a DLP projector the colors were really nice and with a contrast ratio of 2,000:1 the pictures where sharp enough.
