From Changhong — The Changhong V8S is an ultra-short-throw projector with a throw ratio of 0.21:1. It projects a 100 inch image at a distance of 19.5cm from the screen. Because the projector is so close to the screen and projects from the bottom to the top, it can efficiently reject ambient light coming from other directions, so that you won't suffer from washed-out pictures. Also, because the light only travels an ultra-short distance, you will get a much brighter image when compared with long-throw projectors.
