At InfoComm 2026, Legrand | AV's Patrick Kittredge provides insights into the company's new Da-Lite Myriad Reveal, which introduces SightLine cable-drop technology, a fundamental innovation in the electric projection screen category.
SightLine replaces more typical black drop fabric with four 1.5mm galvanized aircraft cables, which will be virtually invisible from the audience side, structurally robust, and field adjustable. The screen ships factory-preset to 24 inches of drop and can be adjusted to any distance up to 16 feet during installation.
The visual result is the appearance of a floating screen, with no opaque drop fabric to interrupt sightlines or compete with architectural elements. The specification result is the elimination of a variable that has caused redesign cost in the projection screen category for decades. The system supports the full Da-Lite GREENGUARD GOLD Certified surface lineup, as well.
