The internal 3LCD technology is a 3-chip design that delivers good color brightness and a wide color gamut. This projector was first available for purchase in July 2000 and has been by Hitachi. The Hitachi CP-S220W was also marketed as the ViewSonic LiteBird PJ853, Liesegang dv 235, 3M MP7640, Polaroid Polaview SVGA 270, Dukane ImagePro 8045, and the Elmo EDP S-10.
