The Hitachi CP-WX8255 Projector is a WXGA Large Venue Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 5,500 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1280x800 . The internal 3LCD technology is a 3-chip design that delivers good color brightness and a wide color gamut. The zoom lens on the Hitachi WX8255 has an impressive zoom ratio of 2x combined with the ability to shift the lens which allows for flexibility in positioning. This projector was first available for purchase in February 2012 and has been discontinued by Hitachi. The Hitachi CP-WX8255 was also marketed as the Dukane ImagePro 8973W.
