From Hitachi — Hitachi's solid-state light source projector line now includes the laser light source 3LCD model LP-EU5002 with 5,000 ANSI lumens. The new laser phosphor light source offers approximately 20,000 hours (normal mode) of operation time and is virtually maintenance-free, there is no lamp to replace providing a dramatic reduction in total cost of ownership. The Hitachi LP-EU5002 was also marketed as the Dukane ImagePro 8950WUSS.
