Write a ReviewPacked with features, although some are buried in awkward menus. Good value for the money. Built-in web interface is very limited, but the email alert function is handy. Be sure to buy one of the recommended PC-Card LAN cards. Not just any card will work. The built-in Closed-caption decoder is a nice extra, although you have to go down 3 levels of menus to find it. I set the startup logo to our organization's logo, but doing so required a PC-Card memory card (not included). Good image when using regular composite video. Throw distance seems a little far for a portable projector. Run Projector Central's calculator before purchase! Overall a good projector, but because of the distortion caused by the "3D Resize", I would try the XGA version next time.
Any Problems: Had a firmware problem that locked up the projector when using the ImageReady software. NEC provided firmware upgrade and instructions to fix. "3D Resize" is OK, but the image gets a little fuzzy whenever the geometry is changed anywhere off of default. Maybe the XGA version looks better?
