Write a ReviewI have had 2 of these unit and overheating issues with both and the units shutting down. It also seems built really cheaply the lens adjust on the front is already loose after only 30hr's of use.
Any Problems: overheating issues with both and the units shutting down. It also seems built really cheaply the lens adjust on the front is already loose
The Nec VT-770 projector is one of the best I have seen used in daylight conditions. It will even produce a top quality picture on a white painted wall. We use it for movies, playing Sony playstation (V8 supercars) it's great. Feels like you are right in the action.
Any Problems: None at all. Top unit Vt 770
Unfortunately I also bought a new a/v receiver onkyo]and got direct TV tivo at the same time as the NEC [so reading the thick operating volumes was a bit laborious to say the least. I finally had to hire a teckie......and am very satisfied with the results. He even commented that the picture was better than his new TV picture. I am still tweaking the speaker assembly [not NEC projector fault] but I would highly recommend this unit. As the saying goes "it rocks".
Any Problems: None.....save for the above comments.
Top unit. Even when used on a white wall, the image is fantastic! Menu options are outstanding. I'm still finding little tricks and clever functions even weeks later. Massive light output means top viewing even in a sunlit room. Playing high res computer games is magic. My only beef is the cost of new lamps, but with 3000hrs in eco, no real problem.
Any Problems: None.
Great projector perfect for presentations it is also upto the task in the home theater department, even on a plain white wall it can produce stunning results it is also bright enough to watch in full daylight. overall superb value for money
Any Problems: Maybe too low contrast for home theater perfectionists
