I bought this super cheap from someone who upgraded 2 the latest trendy overpriced projector. Paid 100bux for complete package (projector,glasses,screen), and i am shocked how good this thing still is in 2023. Very bright, sharp picture, good contrast, great color, and super quiet fan in both eco and bright mode. Why do u people waste your money on overpriced 4k shifters is beyond me, there r so many slightly older projectors u can buy second hand on a tiny budget that will give u an awsome xperience like this little optoma. Yes, its very basic, and not a jvc or epson ub, but still, this thing just pops with tons of light and great image quality. If u find one in good shape for not a lot of money, grab it, u will not regret it. 5/5.

I work installing home theaters, and on several occasions I have installed this projector; I can say that is a good projector with good image quality considering the price paid by it.

Any Problems: The projector has a light leak, from the same lens, it seems that refracts light and diverted to the roof in case of this type of installation, it seems a poor choice for home theaters wanting to keep the dark environment. also presents many artifacts during the screening of scenes and moving fast. I would not buy it for my use

First off i replace my optoma gt 750e which ive had for 3 years now with this hd 25-lv and i have to say what a difference in clarity and over all sharpness.although the 750e was a very good gaming projector,this one takes it up another level when it comes to performance.i had a little trouble with placement die to its limited zoom and no lens shift,but over all i got it corrected after a little tweeking.my final conclusion is this projector is a good value in its class of mid level projectors.for the price you can't get a better projector that lives up to expectation.

Any Problems: no problems at all.

This is my first home theatre projector and I am very happy with it so far. 120" screen ""WOW"" with so much detail which you can not achieve with high end TV of nay size and any brand.

I bought this to upgrade to 3D from a 720P Optoma HD71 which was still working great after 5 years. I am shooting onto a Elite 150" cinegray screen so I need lots of lumens. This HD25LV has not disappointed either in 2D or 3D. I was very surprised how much better the picture quality is and it is brighter than my HD71, which was no slouch. I went with the Optoma RF 3D ZF2100 glasses and emitter and they work great. I shoot from about 18' and can only say that if you have the room this combo is a great big screen value.

Any Problems: nothing of note, mostly operator error.

I ordered this HD25-LV after returning the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema due to poor black level. The black looks grey. I am so please with this HD25-LV. The picture is so much brighter, color jumps out and the black is super black. The picture is sharper and color vivid. Viewing blue ray movies are better then in the movie theater. I am absolutely blown away. I highly recommend this projector.

Any Problems: The down side is that the warranty is only 1 year as compared with Epson's 2 years warranty. The HD25-LV is $200 more then the Epson Powerlite Home Cinema. Lamp life is shorter then Epson's 3500 against 5000 hrs. Beside the lamp is more expensive. Higher power consumption at 339W against Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 285W I also prefer Epson customer services better.
