The Sanyo PLC-XP55 Projector is a XGA Large Venue Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 4,500 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1024x768 . The internal 3LCD technology is a 3-chip design that delivers good color brightness and a wide color gamut. The unique projector lens has the ability to be shifted to allow greater flexibility in positioning the projector relative to the screen. This projector was first available for purchase in August 2003 and has been by Sanyo. The Sanyo PLC-XP55 was also marketed as the Canon LV-7555, EIKI LC-X50M, and the Boxlight MP-45t. Sanyo is now part of the Panasonic Group and officially discontinued its production and sales of projectors in 2012.
