These projectors look terrible. They sap the life out of any colour you're trying to enjoy and their chipset isn't exactly desirable if you're using any of the digital features. Must be mounted 100% correctly with no keystone for it to look its best... We have several of these projectors, unfortunately. Even with the lights 80% dim the users constantly complain about how dim it produces an image. I am desperately trying to dispose of these units, I wouldn't let anyone of my friends or family buy one. Sharp makes fantastic products, but this isn't one of them. Hate it.
Any Problems: Stupid 4 button simultaneous press to reset lamp hours when changing a lamp, really...? Where's my filter warning? No timer. They DON'T shatter lamps like some older NEC projectors (VT-770, VT-695, etc...) but they are also not as bright as advertised. Are these ANSI lumens? Probably not; Brutal :(
