I use 3 of these in my conference venue, and they are great. qualty of image, brightness, and the hanging brackets we've got make it so easy to line up an image perfectly. They look nice and the lens shift/zoom/focus via remote rocks. Not as good a a panasonic DLP - but different league i guess.

Any Problems: not yet

I have two which play 8 hours a day and the blue LCD panel burns out in 600 hours. Sony service is 16 weeks and the problem returns after the next 600 hours. Definitely not to be used industrially. Sony isn't much help either as they do not take responsability for the issue at all. Very expensive to repair.

Any Problems: Horrible device at any price. BEWARE if you need to present images for any duration. Sony also has a "digital re-alignment issue" as well which causes the three panels to lose alignment after 200 hours use. They say it's an issue when switching from video to computer input. Ours was never on a computer and still displayed this problem. Sony doesn't know why...and at that price that answer just doesn't cut it.

the most robust projector on the market in it's price class. video looks great on this machine. all forms of input (dvi is great). also, has the ability to be installed without heat damage in ways that most other projectors cannot (such as straight up or down). unlike most projectors this machine is quite symmetric and physically balance. ideal for staging or motion applications.

Any Problems: none.
