Write a ReviewTrue 1080p native resolution under $1000. I paid $899 at best buy. Has 2 HDMI inputs, and a huge variety of inputs/outputs. It also has audio out, which was important to me. In this price range, DLP is far superior to LCD projectors. I originally purchased a $1699 Epson 3LCD projector, and this Vivitek has a much better, crisper, brighter, more vivid picture. Daytime viewing in the living room is possible with this projector, with an acceptable picture. Night time (dark room), it looks as good as an LCD. I have mine connected to a Vizio sound bar via the audio-out port. Also, using a 77" screen, also purchased from best buy. This is our home television now. News, cartoons, tv shows, movies, video games, everything. Will most likely never go back to an lcd tv. Also, has a great reproduction of standard definition tv. HD channels look superb. I do wish that: Built in speaker was a little better No horizontal keystoning - make sure you get it aligned perfect before you drill the holes in your ceiling.
Any Problems: Just had to re-mount the projector because it doesn't have horizontal key stoning. This is actually a good thing though, because it encourages you do install it the right way, instead of cheating and using digital keystoning, which reduces picture quality.
the projector is awesome. beautiful picture amazing all around. its a purchase i made that i feel great about.
Any Problems: the manual is extrememly vague, no set up chart as far as measurements.
