Projector News

Hi folks,

We've just posted Bill's new review of the Mitsubishi HC100. This is the most dynamic entry-level home theater projector that Mitsubishi has yet released, and it will be a strong contender in the sub-$1,500 marketplace.

Many of you have asked for comparative comments on the new 854x480 projectors. So we are currently getting that piece written. It will include a comparative overview of (in alpha order) the BenQ 5120, the InFocus Screenplay 4805, the Mitsubishi HC100, the NEC HT410, the Optoma H31, and the Toshiba MT200. We are still waiting for one of these units to arrive, so it will be another two to three weeks before we can get this completed.

Meanwhile, I am still fine-tuning the High Rated Home Theater Projectors list, and will get it reposted shortly. It was taken down temporarily for updating and to add the new 5-star ratings to each model.

We currently have the BenQ PE7700 and Optoma H79 under review, so unless we have technical problems with them, they will be the next projector reviews to post.

If there are models you are particularly anxious to see reviewed, please drop us a note at comments@projectorcentral.com. We are always happy to hear from you.

Thanks for using ProjectorCentral,
